The Genesis Fund is a nonprofit organization that raises money for the specialized care and treatment of New England area children born with birth defects, mental retardation and genetic diseases. One of the major goals is to provide state-of-the-art, coordinated, humanistic care to these patients. The Genesis Fund was founded in 1982 by Murray Feingold, MD and has raised over twenty million dollars in the past 20 years through special events and private and corporate contributions.
